About the Role As a Recruiter at TLG, you’ll play a critical role in expanding and maintaining our network of professional interpreters. This role will entail utilizing key administrative skills to recruit and onboard new interpreters who will provide language services onsite. This position will also provide support for current linguists, maintain files, and assist with compliance. You do not need prior experience in the language services industry n—we’ll provide training. What matters most is your ability to connect with people, manage details, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Source freelance interpreters through LinkedIn, registries, professional networks, and other platforms. Manage inbound leads.
Guide contractors through the onboarding process, including credential verification and updates, adjusting the workflow, emails, and texts accordingly.
Build and maintain relationships with interpreters and potential candidates.
Develop expertise in TLG’s credentialing requirements and gain familiarity with contractor compliance and employment laws across multiple states.
Collaborate with internal team to ensure interpreters are fully qualified and ready to work with our clients.
Ensure compliance with state 1099 rules and regulations.
Independently maintain meticulous records of sourcing and onboarding progress metrics for high-need candidates.
Collaborate with Director, Manager and Document Admin in the evaluation of current practices with the objective of optimizing internal processes and policies.
Run reports and analyze current on-site needs to identify recruitment needs.

Qualifications:
Experience in independentcontractor recruitment, or sales, particularly in a specialized field
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Good communication; able to be easily understood by persons from all linguistic backgrounds.
Ability to work independently and meet targets in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in using recruitment tools, social media, and CRM systems.
