Hours: Full Time, 12 pm-8 pm EST, Monday-Friday
Rate $18.00 per hour

This position is challenging and rewarding; offering a chance to learn new skills. The On-Demand Interpreting Administrative Assistant will report to the Director of On-Demand Interpreting Services. The incumbent will support the administrative responsibilities and execution of all On-Demand operations. This includes administrative duties and maintaining quality control of all the On-Demand telephone and video interpreters.

Duties and responsibilities
- Responsible for maintaining and taking action on the On-Demand emails and/or distributing accordingly.
- Ensuring all interpreters credentials are renewed as needed and updated in system.
- Ongoing quality Assurance checks for interpreters.
- Manage logistics of all prescheduled appointments.
- Monitoring of project pipeline.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field.
- Preferred Bilingual Spanish.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Works well with a diverse range of people.
- Candidate should be a good communicator; able to be easily understood by persons from all linguistic backgrounds.
- Capable of understanding persons with limited English proficiency.
- Excellent computer skills, proficiency in Windows (Outlook, Word and Excel).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with urgent deadlines.
- Professional and positive phone manner with clients.
- Attention to detail while managing multiple tasks.
- Friendly and cooperative attitude is of utmost importance.
